Megaupload and other file-sharing sites are blocked in Malaysia

Okay, here is one of the most shocking news I've ever heard. Malaysia Communications and Multimedia Comission (SKMM) submits request to country's ISP ordering them to block ten file-sharing sites including Megaupload, Filesreve, and Pirate Bay.

SKMM stated the action is taken based on copyright issues but file-sharing sites are also used by others to share important files and documents. And I'm seriously pissed off because I downloaded all my Korean dramas from Megaupload. Yeah, I know it is about copyright issue but why the hell they are doing this when our Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak vowed  (in April 2011 at the 1st Malaysian-ASEAN Regional Bloggers Conference) that his administration would never censor the Internet.

Unfortunately, SKMM made it clear that there is a difference between censorship and upholding the rule of law.

What’s the point of subscribing high-speed Internet but start controlling what we are doing online? Why must block file-sharing sites but not PORN sites instead?? why?? oh seriously tell me why.

I have a friend in US having no problem downloading from all file-sharing sites. And she have a Premium Megaupload account too.

Seriously I hate this situation. Congratulations, you just kill my mood today, tomorrow, and day after tomorrow...and the day after tomorrow..bla..bla...bla..

p/s: does anyone know how to bypass this blocked file-sharing sites??

Mari Membaca

My father gave me this book few months ago, tapi aku still tak habis baca. Hahaha. Kalau komik Det. Conan tu, tak sampai sejam dah habis dah. Wakakakaka~~~

TITLE OF THE BOOK: Outliers : The Story of Success
AUTHOR: Malcolm Gladwell

Synopsis?? Buku ni tadek synopsis because it is not a story book. It is a book that can inspire people. Tapi, cara penyampaian penulis ni sangat berbeza daripada buku 'Chicken Soup for the Soul'.

The author of this book looks from everyone from rock stars to professional athelets, software billionares to scientific geniuses, to show the story of success is far more surprising than we could ever imagine. Aku baru baca part professional athelete, and I was like 'Oh, rupanya begitu'. He reveals that, success is much about where we're from, what we do, who we are and no one, not even a genius ever makes it alone. This book will change the way you think about your own life story, and what makes us all unique. TIME also commented, this book can makes geniuses a bit less special, and the rest of us a bit more so.

I just read 1/3 of this book and honestly I am inspired, a bit.
